Arkansas Arts Center Will Be Open New Year’s Day |
(LITTLE ROCK, AR) – The Arkansas Arts Center will be open to the public on New Year’s Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Visitors can tour World of the Pharaohs: Treasures of Egypt Revealed, shop in the Museum and Pharaoh Shops and dine at the Oasis Cafe. World of the Pharaohs displays art and artifacts from ancient Egypt and features more than 200 objects including mummies, jewelry, household objects, tools, statues and large reliefs from tombs.
“The holidays are a great time to visit the Arkansas Arts Center and see World of the Pharaohs,” said Heather Haywood, director of marketing at the Arts Center. “The Arts Center will be open on New Year’s Day to provide out-of-town visitors and Little Rock residents a great activity to do when most businesses are closed.”
