Northwest Arkansas (February 4, 2010) – One Night of Queen, the UK’s hottest and most successful rock show, is coming to Northwest Arkansas for two nights! Celebrating the music of Freddy Mercury and Queen, the live concerts are on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 8pm and Friday, Feb. 19 at 8pm. Tickets range from $20.50 to $60.50 and can be purchased by calling the Walton Arts Center Box Office at 479.443.5600 or by visiting waltonartscenter.org.
In 1985 following their appearance on Live Aid, Queen was internationally acclaimed as the best live band on Earth with Freddie Mercury as the greatest live performer of his generation. Few performers could ever hope to match his unique talent.
Since winning the British talent show “Stars in their Eyes,” Gary Mullen has been recognized world-wide as the closest thing to Freddie. His voice, persona and portrayal send a shiver down your spine and leave your hairs standing on end. The band and production recreate the excitement and atmosphere of a live Queen concert to unmatched perfection.
Almost a decade of touring has seen One Night of Queen build a reputation for regularly selling out large theatres and concert halls, across the UK, Europe and the World! They have performed in France, Germany, Holland, Great Britain and more than 40 cities in the USA. Demand has been such that more and more tour dates are being scheduled seemingly every day. This is your chance to see this phenomenal live concert before it jets off across the Atlantic once again.
